Lockwood

FOUNDED IN 1951 by Johannes La Grouw Snr and Johannes Van Loghem with the idea of utilising New Zealand Radiata Pine in an innovative and distinctive engineered building system, Lockwood Homes is a proud family-owned business that has become a trusted and iconic Kiwi brand.

The components for these homes and buildings are manufactured in its production facility in Rotorua, to an exacting standard by its team of skilled craftsmen.

Consistent standards, reliability and a deep sense of pride as well as care and accuracy in the design and manufacturing processes ensures the highest quality in Lockwood’s finished homes and is a mark of respect for the carpenters who build and the people who live in them.

Lockwood Homes are designed for resilience, strength and ductility with its engineered components standing strong in earthquakes and extreme weather. In addition, Lockwood homes contribute to the health and wellbeing of the occupants by incorporating features that improve thermal performance, by using materials that connect occupants with nature, and by designing spaces that can adapt to different stages of life.

Designed for New Zealanders, Lockwood Homes has been building high performance homes since 1951.
