WHEN JOHN CADBURY FOUNDED HIS COMPANY IN 1824, he believed that chocolate could be a force for good in the world. The Cadbury family were pioneers of good business, putting people and communities at the heart of the way they made and sold their chocolate.
These founding principles remain today with Cadbury’s ongoing commitment in supporting New Zealand communities while delivering the signature taste and quality of Cadbury Chocolate in a range of formats for people to enjoy and share.
Recently, Cadbury launched delicious cookies topped with chocolate chips and a chocolate soft centre. Its Classic, Double Choc and Choc-centred Cookie range, which can be eaten cold or heated in a microwave, allows for Cadbury’s much-loved signature taste to be shared between more people on more occasions.
The idea of sharing and generosity also extends to Cadbury’s commitment to giving back to its local communities through helping food banks and shelters, supporting long-standing partnerships and community focused organisations, and providing employeededicated volunteer days.
“We believe that the generosity of spirit in which we were founded is as important today as it’s ever been which is why giving back is so important to us,” says William Papesch, Cadbury New Zealand’s Marketing Manager. “Our partnerships with KidsCan, Netball New Zealand, NZ Olympic and Paralympics, Make-A-Wish, and Conservation Volunteers NZ allow us to have a positive impact across New Zealand.”
