ESTABLISHED OVER 120 YEARS AGO by J.H. Whittaker, Whittaker’s Chocolates has remained in the family and is now directed by third-generation brothers Andrew and Brian Whittaker. The fourth generation of Whittakers is also on board, with brother Matt being the Head of International Markets and sister Holly the Marketing Manager.

Whittaker’s chocolate is made at its factory in Porirua, New Zealand, and is the only major chocolate manufacturer in the country that ensures quality by controlling the whole manufacturing process from bean to bar. Each step in the chocolate-making process, from receiving the cocoa bean in its raw form to the final wrapped product, is done at the Whittaker’s factory. The Whittaker family is dedicated to producing chocolate of the highest quality using only the finest ingredients. Whittakers does not use palm oil or genetically modified (GM) substances in any of its products.

As proud Kiwis, Whittaker’s helps protect our native wildlife and has teamed up with ‘Kiwis for kiwi’ again in 2018 with their Chocolate Kiwi, with the goal of raising another $80,000 for Operation Nest Egg. Whittaker’s would like to thank chocolate lovers for their help to save kiwi!
