IT SHOULD COME AS NO SURPRISE THAT PRESBYTERIAN SUPPORT’S Enliven services are trusted by thousands of older Kiwis and their families; the organisation has been providing reliable, high-quality, and locally responsive services for over 130 years.
With more than 50 centres across New Zealand and 7000 staff and volunteers, Presbyterian Support is one of the largest providers of social and health services in the country.
Through Enliven, Presbyterian Support’s focus is on creating elder-centred communities where older people have companionship, variety, fun, a sense of belonging, meaningful activity, choice, independence and practical support when they need it within an environment where quality care is paramount. This person-centred and holistic approach recognises that some things make for happier, healthier living regardless of age or ability.
In 2017, Kiwis will see further development of Enliven’s popular homes and villages, specialist dementia support, care technology and unique support programmes. It will also continue to invest in its resourceful, creative and responsive team – the skilled, passionate staff and dedicated volunteers who go above and beyond to create a caring, inclusive environment for older Kiwis and a trusted not-for-profit organisation known for its professionalism, integrity and care.
